This position is located at the customer’s side in Sunbury, UK.

What will you be doing at eInfochips?

  • You will be responsible for the design and development of real-time embedded software and firmware, and PC/mobile based software applications.
  • Analyse domain-specific technical or low-level requirements and modifications as per end customer or system requirements and participate in software design.
  • Perform software testing including unit, functional and system level requirements including manual and automated.
  • Document technical deliverables like software specifications, design documents, code commenting, test cases and test reports.
  • Develop software solutions from established programming languages or by learning new languages required for specific projects.
  • Develop new approaches to complex design problems.

What are we looking for?

  • 5+ years of experience with embedded systems (NXP iMX8 or similar platform).
  • Strong knowledge of C++ programming language.
  • Bachelor's degree in electronics or computer science.
  • Expertise in debugging and communication protocols (HTTP, MqTT).
  • Knowledge in JLink, JTag, ICE Debugger, Serial Port Debugging.
  • Working knowledge of Linux.
  • Good to have experience with Yocto build system.
