With Red Bull Powertrains development well underway, we have an exciting position for an experienced Stores Person. This position offers the opportunity to join our team in which it will support the continued success of our Championship Winning Team. The Red Bull Powertrains Stores and Goods-In Departments play a key role in the smooth running of all areas of the engine development.
The successful candidate will ideally have current or very recent experience of working in a high-pressured, results driven stores environment, preferably within the Motorsport or Aerospace industries.
Responsibilities- Work to ensure material handling is executed to the highest possible standard.
- Traceability of stock, maximising accuracy levels and the receiving and storage of parts efficiently are all paramount.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure parts are delivered to race/test events and third-party suppliers in a timely and efficient manner, and advise planners and buyers on potential shortages and delivery schedules.
- Pick parts to works orders under tight time constraints whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Carry out stock takes and cycle counts regularly.
- Utilise computer-based stock management software; knowledge of ERP systems is an absolute necessity.
- Night shifts with some overtime, and ad-hoc weekend shifts when required.
- Counter-Balance forklift licence is advantageous but not essential.
- Ability to work well without direct supervision, with self-motivation and elevated attention to detail.
- Experience in a high-pressured, results-driven stores environment, ideally within Motorsport or Aerospace industries.
- Strong computer literacy and familiarity with ERP/stock management software.
- Self-motivated with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- Current forklift licence (Counter-Balance) advantageous but not essential.
