The first American Formula 1 team to compete in the sport since 1986, MoneyGram Haas F1 Team made an immediate impression with a memorable points-scoring debut at the 2016 Australian Grand Prix. Nine years later, the team continues to demonstrate growth and a clear direction with its future objectives – coming off the back of its second-best season to date in Formula 1.

We’re a racing team – not a corporate machine. We have three HQs – Kannapolis in the US, Banbury in the UK and Maranello in Italy – each powered by passionate, loyal and hardworking team ambassadors. At MoneyGram Haas F1 Team – known within the paddock as the ‘family team’ – you’ll be involved in many different areas of the team, have much wider visibility across the business, and will be able to clearly see your contribution to our team.

General Summary:

This position reports to the Stores & Inventory Manager or their designee, located in Banbury. Responsible for receiving goods, receipting into the ERP system, ensuring parts are conforming to company requirements, picking & packing parts while adhering to parts policies, guidelines and procedures. This is a supporting role for our 2026 car build and may require frequent travel to Italy.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Promote teamwork and effective communications to develop working relationships between all personnel and departments.
  2. When required, travel to events to work under the direction of the Stores & Inventory Manager, guaranteeing a professional parts service.
  3. Work with other stores, logistics, procurement, and parts coordinators to create an auditable and accurate store department, conducting accurate receipting and picking to guarantee accurate stock control and accountability for stock movements.
  4. Receive parts through goods in, ensuring delivery notes, purchase orders, and physical quantities are aligned. Ensure the data entry into the ERP system is complete and correct between digital and physical.
  5. Understand technical drawings to match physical product against the delivery note.
  6. Ensure part marking and serialization meet company standards before parts enter the business.
  7. Responsible for part and serial marking when required to ensure full traceability within the ERP and Lifing systems.
  8. Pick against demand to fulfill requirements within stores, flagging items not located.
  9. Responsible for the rolling stock of proprietary parts and flagging demand requirements.
  10. Follow staggered shift patterns to suit the demands of the business.
  11. Maintain a clean and tidy store environment throughout the day.
  12. Work with the parts and stores coordinator on various tasks.
  13. Support loading and unloading freight alongside the logistics team.
  14. Follow all safety regulations in all venues.
  15. Perform any delegated responsibilities by the Stores & Inventory Manager or their designee.

Education and Work Experience:

GCSE, High School diploma or equivalent is required. At least 3 years of experience in store operations, preferably in motorsport. Valid driver’s license and meeting liability/casualty insurance requirements are necessary. Leadership experience is preferred.

Specialized Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Excel, Power BI, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Knowledge of race car parts and assemblies, including vendors, functions, serialization, and part numbers.
  • Experience with part marking machines is desirable.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in time-sensitive situations to a high standard.
  • Quick decision-making skills, analytical problem-solving.
  • Effective teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  • Positive approach and willingness to assist colleagues.

Equipment and Applications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, D365 products.
  • Forklift license is a plus.
  • Knowledge of complex shipment regulations and facility maintenance requirements.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

Ability to work in high-pressure, time-sensitive environments, with occasional domestic and international travel. Flexibility for long and irregular hours, including weekends. Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, perform manual tasks, and work around machinery, race cars, and hazardous materials. Compliance with health and safety policies is mandatory.
