About the Role: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Social Media Producer to join our experienced motorsports media team - with a particular focus on Formula 1. The successful candidate will be embedded in the high-paced environment of motorsports, attend races and activations globally, and work closely with drivers, teams, and sponsors.
Key Responsibilities:
- On-Site Event Coverage: Travel to and attend races for different series throughout the season. Create behind-the-scenes, live, and exclusive content from paddocks, garages, press conferences, and fan zones. Act as a key point of contact for social media needs during event coverage.
- Platform Strategy & Analytics: Monitor trends, audience behaviour, and competitor content to optimize content performance. Work with analytics and insights teams to track KPIs, engagement, and growth. Contribute to evolving the brand’s social tone, especially for younger and global audiences.
- Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with marketing, sponsorship, and editorial teams to support broader campaigns.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in social media content creation or production, ideally within sports or entertainment.
- Proven experience managing social media at live events with tight turnaround times.
- Strong knowledge and passion for Formula 1 and motorsports culture.
- Proficiency in content tools (Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Canva, mobile editing apps).
- Ability to travel internationally for up to 10+ weekends per year.
- Comfortable working irregular hours, including weekends and holidays, in line with the motorsport calendar.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with or within a Formula 1 team, media outlet, or motorsport organization.
- Multilingual (especially French, Italian, Spanish, or German) a plus.
- Background in journalism, communications, or multimedia storytelling.
