We have an exciting opportunity for a Test Technician to join the team at our Silverstone facility. In this role, you will be responsible for performing tests on vehicle systems and components, ensuring they meet the required performance and safety standards. You will play a crucial role in our commitment to innovation and excellence, where every team member is encouraged to share ideas and drive our shared success.
- Conduct detailed testing and validation activities on vehicle systems, components, and assemblies, ensuring all results are accurately recorded and reported.
- Ensure all testing activities are carried out in full compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and established engineering procedures.
- Support the preparation, setup, calibration, and maintenance of test equipment to ensure accurate and repeatable data collection.
- Work closely with the engineering team to investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve issues identified during testing and validation programmes.
- Contribute to the ongoing development and continuous improvement of testing methods, validation processes, and operational procedures to enhance efficiency and reliability.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 qualification, or equivalent, in a relevant technical discipline.
- Previous experience in a testing, validation, or technical support role within a motorsport or automotive environment.
- Good working knowledge of automotive systems, components, and associated vehicle technologies.
- Familiarity with a range of test equipment, instrumentation, and data acquisition tools.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a wider team in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to accurately record, interpret, and communicate technical findings.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across multiple departments.
- Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- A positive attitude and commitment to contributing to an open, collaborative, and inclusive team culture.
