We have a fantastic opportunity for an exceptionally talented Mechanical Design Engineer specialised in Electrical Systems Integration to join our Electronics group within the Engineering Office at Enstone. This position will play a crucial role in helping us push for podiums and race wins. Our team is dedicated to engineering excellence, pushing the boundaries of technology and optimising performance to achieve our goals. Role responsibilities
- 3D mechanical design and integration of all electrical components on and off the car in accordance with F1 technical regulations.
- 3D design of composites and metallic parts, as well as routing and design of complex wiring harnesses.
- Use CAD data to produce components and harness mechanical drawings and associated documentation to ensure installation as per design intent.
- Work on future car programmes and implement development technologies.
Qualifications
- Degree level or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
- Solid knowledge of engineering first principles and motorsport electrical systems.
- Previous CAD experience is essential; proficiency in Catia V5/3DX or equivalent (NX or similar acceptable).
- Understanding of military specification connectors and harness design is beneficial.
- Self‑motivated, analytical, pragmatic decision‑maker capable of working with minimal supervision.
- Creative, innovative, and consistent problem‑solving approach.
