About the Role
We are looking for a Procurement Manager to lead the Indirect Purchasing team, develop and oversee strategic purchasing decisions from conception through to implementation and managing key supplier and stakeholder relationships.
Key Accountabilities

Developing, implementing and promoting Procurement strategies that support the Team’s goals and objectives, working closely with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure procurement activities are aligned with their requirements.

Managing the team of Indirect Buyers to consistently maintain high performance and drive supplier excellence in terms of cost, delivery and quality.

Provide leadership direction, development, guidance and support for team members of the Indirect Purchasing Team.

Identifying, evaluating and managing the indirect supply base and fostering strong partnerships to ensure reliable and cost effective sourcing ensuring alignment with business strategy.

Implementing improvements to procurement processes and ensuring compliance with regulations and best practices and promoting efficiency in the procurement cycle.

Maintaining and communicating monthly departmental metrics and KPIs.

Lead and coordinate commercial and contractual negotiations to effectively manage supplier relationships and secure favourable terms.

Strive to maximise value for money and to ensure a professional process and control of expenditure is maintained.

Create annual continuous improvement plans for cost, quality, delivery and people development.
