This role is vital to supporting our metallics production by managing the preparation, building, and pre-setting ofCNC spindle tool assemblies. If you like to deliver in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and have a passion for precision, we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Prepare CNC spindle tool assemblies, work orders, fixtures, and materials for production.
- Deliver completed “Job Packs” to designated machine areas using tool trolleys.
- Disassemble and clean tooling assemblies’ post-production, inspecting for wear or damage.
- Recycle worn or damaged cutter tooling and raise requisitions for replacements.
- Maintain organised storage and accurate documentation of all tooling components.
- Manage inventory control and booking systems in line with 5S principles.
- Maximise tool life and reduce waste through careful validation and usage tracking.
- Ensure smooth shift handovers with clear and concise communication.

Qualifications
- Experience in setting/operating CNC Milling machines and familiarity with Fanuc Controls
- CMM experience
- Setting of tools using a toolpre setter
- Excellent attention to detail and used to working with tight tolerances
