The Operational Marketing Manager is responsible for leading the tactical delivery of United Autosports’ marketing and communications activity across championships, partners, and brand projects. With direct line management responsibility for two Marketing Executives and one Graphic Designer, the role ensures flawless execution of marketing outputs across all channels and events.

The role requires a hands-on leader with proven experience in an agency environment and/or within motorsport, capable of managing people, projects, and deadlines in high-pressure situations while maintaining the highest professional and creative standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Line Management

    • Lead, coach, and develop two Marketing Executives and one Graphic Designer.

    • Manage day-to-day workflow, priorities, and deadlines across the marketing team.

    • Foster collaboration, creativity, and accountability within the team.

  • Operational Marketing Delivery

    • Oversee the tactical execution of pre-event, on-event, and post-event marketing activity.

    • Ensure all partner, sponsor, and championship obligations are met to a consistently high standard.

    • Manage live event delivery including branding, content capture, media liaison, and guest engagement.

  • Brand & Creative Oversight

    • Ensure brand guidelines are consistently applied across all marketing outputs.

    • Collaborate with the Graphic Designer to deliver high-quality creative assets across print, digital, merchandise, and hospitality.

    • Review and sign off all marketing materials to ensure accuracy and alignment with United Autosports’ standards.

  • Digital & Content Management

    • Oversee social media scheduling, website updates, and digital campaigns.

    • Ensure content is engaging, timely, and in keeping with brand voice and sponsor expectations.

    • Commission and coordinate photography, video, and media outputs.

  • Commercial & Partner Delivery

    • Support the Commercial Director in delivering partner activations and marketing commitments.

    • Oversee the creation of presentations, reports, and sponsor collateral.

    • Ensure marketing contributes to sponsor satisfaction and long-term renewals.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Work closely with the Commercial, Operations, and Team Coordination departments to ensure seamless delivery across the business.

    • Act as the bridge between commercial objectives and marketing execution.

    • Provide reporting and insights on marketing activity to senior leadership.

  • Travel & Event Presence

    • Travel extensively to races, tests, and commercial events (UK & International).

    • Represent the marketing function trackside, ensuring smooth execution and professional presentation.

Experience & Competencies

  • Background in an agency environment and/or motorsport within a similar role is essential.

  • Proven experience leading marketing delivery across events, sponsorships, and brand platforms.

  • Strong people management skills with experience overseeing small teams.

  • Excellent communication, organisational, and project management skills.

  • Proficiency in digital marketing platforms, content creation workflows, and brand management.

  • Strong creative eye with ability to quality-check and sign off materials.

  • Confident in high-pressure, fast-paced environments with shifting priorities.

  • Willingness to travel extensively and work flexibly to match racing and event schedules.

  • Right to work in the UK is required.
