About the role:
We\’re looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic production team at our manufacturingfacility. In this role, you\’ll help optimise manufacturing processes, work closely with project engineersto resolve production challenges, and provide hands-on support in producing our high-performancecooling components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work within our production team, executing tasks and processes to manufacture high-performance cooling system products.
- Participate in production activities involving specialised tools and machinery, requiringprecision fitting, alignment, and adjustment of aluminium components and tubes to tighttolerances.
- Develop an understanding of PWR components, and, over time, apply engineering principlesand analytical problem-solving skills to improve manufacturing processes.
- Operate and maintain a variety of specialised production tools.
- Responsible for product and process R&D – levering on PWR’s current technology and capability
- Improve manufacturing efficiency through the analysis and planning of workflows, space requirements and equipment layouts
- Ensure product quality through the design of testing methods
- Prepares product and process reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising information and trends.
- Provides manufacturing engineering information by answering questions and requests.
- Keeps equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services.
- Communication and coordination with global team
- Enter relevant information into PWR’s ERP system.
- Collaborate within a team environment, effectively communicating with colleagues to monitor progress and ensure successful completion of assigned projects.
- Manage time effectively and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to quality and support Quality Systems and ISO requirements.
- Maintain and repair equipment to ensure it’s operational
- Manage relationships with maintenance and service professionals
- Train and guide technicians in the design and development of projects

What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in optimising manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Minimum awareness of CAD modelling to enable them to work closely with the Design Engineers to model manufacturing tool and fixtures
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in diagnosing and resolving production issues, improving production workflows, and minimising downtime.
- Understanding of manufacturing technologies, machinery, and production equipment. Experience in operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting a wide variety of tools and machines used in the manufacturing process.
- Experience in managing production-related projects, including planning, execution, resource allocation, and ensuring that production goals are met on time and within budget.
- A strong focus on precision and quality, with experience working to tight tolerances and ensuring high- quality outputs in every aspect of the production process.
- Proven ability to work effectively within a team, collaborating with cross-functional departments such as design, engineering, and quality control. Strong communication skills to relay production issues, updates, and progress.
- Experience in maintaining a safe production environment and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Experience in adapting to shifting production schedules and handling high-pressure situations.
