We are looking for a Paddock Operations Co-ordinator to join our Events team at Formula 1. Event Delivery is a key pillar of the group’s business being the live platform from which fans can experience the thrill and entertainment of Formula 1. The Off-Track group is looking to build a team to manage the deployment of F1 assets within the Paddock at each Grand Prix, whilst enhancing and improving process with various F1 stakeholders and suppliers.

Reporting into our Senior Events Experience Manager, this role will lead and assist the wider Paddock Operations team on Paddock delivery and projects.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • To lead on project planning – status tracking, creating timelines and task organisation.
  • To manage team documentation – trackers, processes and deadlines.
  • Support the wider team with minute taking for both online and in person meetings.
  • Complete and submit department post event reports for the team.
  • Support the Paddock Ops Managers when liaising with suppliers' pre-event and live event.
  • Assist in producing daily reports during live events.
  • Manage daily job list/tracker during live events.
  • Support with the movement and quality checking of both Paddock and Grid assets.
  • Work closely with other stakeholders such as Commercial Media, Ceremonies & Protocol, and Brand Studio.
  • International travel required.

What Are We Looking For

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree education level (desirable but not essential).

Experience

  • Extensive experience in a similar role at a fast paced, dynamic organisation; sport and/or live entertainment industry experience essential.
  • Proven event experience with a track record of organisation and attention to detail.
  • On-site event experience.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Highly independent, performance driven and comfortable working in a global environment, under pressure and to tight deadlines but within a team environment.
  • Confidence and ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Experience of working globally or across multiple territories.
  • English fluency – spoken and written (required); additional languages desired.

  • Able to establish positive working relationships and build the respect of others internally.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills; flexible and ‘can do’ attitude.
  • Focused and driven individual, who proactively takes on initiatives and drives projects from conception to completion.
