The HR Administrators play a vital role in supporting the HR function at Williams by ensuring the smooth, efficient, and accurate delivery of day-to-day HR operations. This role provides essential administrative support across the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to data management, benefits administration, and employee support, helping to maintain a high-quality, compliant, and people-focused HR service.

Main Duties:- Act as the first point of contact for all queries and requests received by the HR Service Centre, delivering an exceptional employee experience in line with service standards.
- Provide high-quality first-line support on HR policies, procedures, benefits, payroll, and HR initiatives.
- Resolve routine queries, manage stakeholder expectations, and escalate more complex cases to the appropriate Team Lead when required.
- Consistently meet and exceed agreed service level agreements (SLAs) for response and resolution times.
- Ensure the delivery of accurate, consistent information aligned with company policy and process.
- Log and track all employee queries using our case management system, Workday Help.
- Prioritise and manage multiple cases simultaneously, proactively following up on in-progress cases and collaborating with colleagues to ensure timely resolution.
- Monitor the case queue and take responsibility for reallocating workload when necessary to maintain an efficient flow of service.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records within the HRIS (Workday), ensuring compliance with legislation and internal standards.
- Proactively identify and correct data errors, supporting strong data governance practices.
- Own and deliver employee lifecycle processes, including documentation, communications, onboarding, offboarding, and leading weekly induction sessions.
- Prepare and issue HR documentation such as contract variations, leaver letters, and other employee communications as required.
- Run and prepare routine reports from Workday to support HR operations.
- Respond to employee payroll and benefits queries, including helping employees understand payslips and end-of-year documents.
- Guide new employees through benefits enrolment and ensure all required payroll documentation is collected as part of onboarding.
- Support the processing of payroll and benefits changes, including monthly pension uploads and contribution submissions.
- Investigate and resolve payroll or benefit discrepancies in partnership with the payroll and benefits teams.
- Maintain accurate payroll and benefits records, following all required processes and controls.
- Raise requisitions and purchase orders as needed.
- Identify recurring trends in employee queries and recommend process improvements to enhance service quality.
- Support enhancements and issue resolutions within the HRIS, helping optimise system functionality and improve the employee experience.
- Contribute to wider HR strategic initiatives by offering ideas, identifying opportunities, and helping remove operational blockers.
- Assist with data quality checks, system audits, and broader business audit activities to ensure compliance and consistency.
- Exceptional customer service with a commitment to high standards.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to prioritise effectively and remain calm in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience working with Workday.
- Experience in creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Understanding of basic UK Payroll administration.
- Experience working within a HR Shared Services team previously.
