This position is located at the customer’s side in Sunbury, UK.
What will you be doing at eInfochips?
- You will be responsible for the design and development of real-time embedded software and firmware, and PC/mobile based software applications.
- Analyse domain-specific technical or low-level requirements and modifications as per end customer or system requirements and participate in software design.
- Perform software testing including unit, functional, and system level requirements including manual and automated.
- Document technical deliverables like software specifications, design documents, code commenting, test cases, and test reports.
- Develop software solutions from established programming languages or by learning new languages required for specific projects.
- Develop new approaches to complex design problems.
What are we looking for?
- 5+ years of experience with embedded systems (NXP iMX8 or similar platform).
- Strong knowledge of C++ programming language.
- Bachelor's degree in electronics or computer science.
- Expertise in debugging and communication protocols (HTTP, MqTT).
- Knowledge in JLink, JTag, ICE Debugger, Serial Port Debugging.
- Working knowledge of Linux.
- Good to have experience with Yocto build system.
