An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Electrical Technician to join the Jaguar TCS Racing department in a rapidly expanding and exciting work environment.

About the role

This is a unique opportunity to work at the cutting edge of electric racing technology within a world‑class Formula E operation.

What you will do

• Build, install, maintain, and fault‑find electrical systems on Formula E race cars and associated equipment
• Support car preparation, build, and turnaround during test and race events
• Diagnose electrical faults under tight time constraints in a high‑pressure environment
• Work closely with race engineers and mechanics to ensure optimal system performance
• Assist with wiring looms, sensors, control units, and data systems
• Ensure all electrical work complies with FIA, Formula E, and internal safety standards
• Support garage, test, and race operations, including international travel as required
• Proven experience as an Electrical Technician, ideally within motorsport, automotive, aerospace, or high‑performance engineering

About you

• Strong understanding of automotive electrical systems, wiring looms, and fault diagnosis
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings
• Experience working to tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
• High attention to detail with a methodical approach to problem‑solving
• Comfortable working flexible hours and international travel
• Previous experience in Formula E, Formula 1, WEC, or other professional motorsport series preferred no essential
• Experience with high‑voltage systems (training can be provided if required)
• Familiarity with System 25 Wiring
• Motorsport event support experience
