Are you ready to accelerate your career with a dynamic and innovative F1 team? We are looking to expand our well‑established team with a Junior Mathematical Modeller who is motivated to significantly contribute to our relentless pursuit of excellence. This position will play a crucial role in helping us push for podiums and race wins.

You will play a key role in applying computational and mathematical methods to solve a wide range of complex and engaging modelling and data‑analysis challenges across the company. Previous projects have included:

  • Providing real‑time, data‑driven support to Race Team engineers and drivers to optimise car setup and tyre usage for maximum performance
  • Determining optimal pit stop laps to enhance race strategy
  • Modelling aerodynamic forces in a five‑dimensional space using noisy data
  • Automating the analysis of competitor GPS data to estimate engine power and other performance metrics

To tackle them, we employ a variety of advanced techniques, such as:

  • Bayesian Optimisation
  • Gaussian Processes
  • Monte Carlo Simulations
  • Reinforcement Learning

We are looking to enhance our talented team with an individual who is educated to degree level or equivalent within Engineering or a STEM subject. You should have a confident background in coding; experience with Python or MATLAB would be an advantage. We need someone who is self‑motivated, analytical, and a pragmatic decision‑maker capable of working with minimal supervision.
