Our dedicated team is responsible for the design, development, and assembly of high-performance engines that power championship-winning vehicles worldwide.

We are now seeking a Junior Engine Design Engineer to join our growing Engine Design team. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and motivated individual looking to kick start their career in motorsport engineering and play a key role in the development of high-performance engines.

The role and responsibilities include:

  • Delivering innovative engineering solutions.

  • Assisting in the design and development of engine components using 3D CAD.

  • Creating detailed drawings and engineering documentation to support manufacture and assembly.

  • Performing basic calculations and simulations to support design decisions.

  • Supporting prototype builds and test activities.

  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives in performance, reliability, and efficiency.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a self-motivated team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude. The ideal candidate will be:

  • Educated to MEng or BEng degree level in Motorsport, Automotive or Mechanical Engineering, and have good knowledge of 3D CAD, preferably CATIA V5.

  • A genuine interest in engines and powertrain systems.

  • Have the fundamental knowledge of engine systems and materials is essential.

  • Have a meticulous attention to detail and a practical approach to problem solving.

  • Excellent interpersonal, relationship and team building skills, and share our determination to deliver the very best results.

  • Pride yourself on delivering a high standard of performance and quality whilst working to strict deadlines in a time-sensitive environment.

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous work experience in a Design Office setting on an industrial placement year, or hands on practical experience (either volunteering on race weekends or formula student) would be beneficial.
