ABOUT THE ROLE

At M-Sport UK, we share a passion for motorsport – from the world rally stages to the dunes of rally raid, and beyond. We are now seeking an experienced HSE Manager to lead our Health, Safety & Environmental strategy across the business.

The role and responsibilities include:

  • Lead and develop our HSE strategy, promoting a culture of safety and environmental awareness across the organisation.

  • Ensure compliance with all UK HSE legislation and regulations (e.g. HSAW, PUWER, COSHH, LOLER, ISO14001).

  • Conduct and manage risk assessments, method statements, and audits across manufacturing, administration, and motorsport operations.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain company HSE policies and procedures.

  • Manage accident investigations, near-miss reporting, and root cause analysis, ensuring corrective actions are taken.

  • Lead site-wide safety initiatives and training.

  • Liaise with department managers to ensure a proactive approach to risk management.

  • Oversee environmental impact assessments and develop sustainable practices.

  • Prepare and deliver regular reports and updates to senior management.

  • Stay up to date with changes in HSE legislation and advise on their potential impact.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a self-motivated team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude. The ideal candidate will be:

  • Strong knowledge of UK health, safety, and environmental legislation.

  • NEBOSH National General Certificate, or equivalent professional HSE qualification.

  • Experience in implementing and maintaining ISO45001 and ISO14001 systems.

  • An analytical and problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.

  • A confident communicator with excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience in delivering training and promoting safety culture at all levels.

  • Computer literate with strong MS Office skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar HSE role within a manufacturing, engineering, or motorsport environment.

  • NEBOSH Diploma or working towards Chartership (CMIOSH).
