- ERP Developer – Epicor Kinetic
- We are seeking a talented
ERP Developer – Epicor Kinetic to join our ERP transformation programme and play a key role in delivering innovative, scalable, and supportable solutions across the business.
Working closely with Business Analysts, Architects, Technical Leads, and business stakeholders, you will be responsible for the development, configuration, customisation, integration, testing, and deployment of Epicor Kinetic solutions.
This role offers the opportunity to work at the heart of a high-performance engineering environment, helping to drive digital transformation and business excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, configure, customise, and support Epicor Kinetic solutions to meet approved business requirements.
- Translate functional requirements into scalable, maintainable, and upgrade-safe technical solutions.
- Design and implement BAQs, BPMs, Epicor Functions, dashboards, workflows, form customisations, and UD tables/fields.
- Configure Epicor modules, business rules, workflows, and usability enhancements to optimise business processes.
- Develop and support integrations between Epicor Kinetic and external systems including PLM, MES, WMS, HR, Finance, and reporting platforms.
- Create and maintain REST API, Service Connect, CADLink, and middleware‑based integrations.
- Produce technical documentation, release notes, process flows, and user guidance to support solution adoption.
- Support testing activities including unit testing, integration testing, UAT, and performance validation.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Architects, Data Migration Specialists, and Technical Leads to ensure successful solution delivery.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, driving optimisation of Epicor functionality and business processes.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Proven experience developing and supporting solutions within Epicor Kinetic.
- Strong knowledge of Epicor configuration, business rules, workflows, BPMs, Epicor Functions, BAQs, dashboards, and UD structures.
- Experience developing and supporting integrations using REST APIs, Epicor Service Connect, CADLink, and related technologies.
- Strong understanding of ERP processes across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, finance, or commercial operations.
- Experience gathering technical requirements, designing solutions, and producing clear documentation.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) principles and change management processes.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex business and technical issues.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
