We’re looking for an experienced conscientious and responsible person to manage the busy workshop and our five fleets of go-karts.

Hours: Full time (Flexible, incl. evenings and weekends).

Location: Daytona Tamworth, Robey’s Lane, Tamworth, B78 1AR.

Salary: £35,000 OTE

The Role:

  • Supervising the service of the various kart fleets
  • Maintaining service records
  • Ordering and managing stock and spares
  • Managing the engineering team
  • Managing kart performance & cleanliness
  • Responsible for the health and safety of the workshop and team

Essential Skills:

  • Mechanical experience along with an understanding of engineering principles
  • Knowledge and experience of kart maintenance preferred but not essential
  • Demonstrable prior experience of working with budgets and forecasting
  • An understanding and compliance of statutory requirements with regards to Health and Safety
  • IT literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Outlook)
  • Confidence in communicating with suppliers and colleagues across Daytona Group
  • Previous experience from a supervisory or management position
  • Prior experience/knowledge of Sodikart, Birel, Biz and CRG products would be an advantage
  • Must have own tools
  • Experience of maintaining stock and budget control is essential, however, training will be provided
  • A clean or near clean driving license preferred
  • Right to work in the UK
