We’re looking for a skilledComposites Laminator Technicianto join our high-performing Composites Production team. This is a hands-on role where precision, quality, and teamwork are essential to delivering exceptional results in the manufacture and maintenance of composite components.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manufacture, repair, and maintain composite parts using carbon fibre, fibreglass, and resin.
  • Apply vacuum bagging techniques and prepare moulds for curing.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and Ply Books using CAD systems.
  • Use honeycomb core materials and create templates for repeatable processes.
  • De-mould and drill cured components, ensuring readiness for the next production stage.

  • Complying with all health and safety requirements and promoting a safe working environment.
  • Demonstrating high standards of conduct and acting as a positive representative of the department.
  • Maintaining a clean, professional workspace in line with brand and presentation standards.
  • Working to defined quality standards and actively contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Understanding and adhering to cost cap rules and operational requirements.
  • Engaging with the Component Faults system (MPI) to support quality and traceability.
  • Showing adaptability, initiative, and teamwork to meet tight deadlines and production goals.
  • Applying strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive, solution-focused mindset.
  • Accurately recording data within the business MRP system to support traceability and performance tracking.

Qualifications

  • Provenexperience in laminating and assembly, ideally within F1 or a high-performance environment.
  • Strong understanding of composite manufacturing technologies.
  • Experience with mould making, vacuum bagging, and component manufacture.
  • A detail-focused, proactive approach with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Confidence working both independently and as part of a team.

This shift pattern is Tuesday to Friday, 07:30 – 18:30 (4-day week, 40 hours total)
