As a Composite Trimmer/fitter, you will be responsible for the trimming, fitting and bonding of carbon fibre components.
Responsibilities
- Trimming composite material using specialised hand and power tools, following dimensions and tolerances from an engineering drawing.
- Fitting of composite components for bonded assemblies.
- Bond and assemble composite components in accordance with company procedures and standards.
- Perform composite repairs, such as filling voids or repairing damage, using appropriate composite repair techniques.
- Perform self‑inspections of finished parts to guarantee conformance to stringent engineering drawings and procedures.
- Collaborate closely with other departments across the team to optimize workflow, meet production targets, and continuously improve component quality.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment, adhering to strict 5S and LEAN principles.
- Adhere to data capturing processes to ensure you and colleagues are compliant with regulations.

- Ensure understanding of cost cap rules and requirements.

Qualifications and Experience Level
- Minimum 5 years Trimming and assembly experience – Preferably in F1

- Full understanding of Adhesive specs and their properties
- Knowledge in a range of material surface preparation for composite bonding
- Proficient in composite repair techniques
