We are currently seeking an organised and proactive Engine Parts Administrator to join our busy Engine Department at Dovenby Hall. You will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day administration and coordination of engine components and stock within a fast-paced motorsport environment.
Working closely with Engine Builders, Purchasing, and Stores, the successful candidate will help ensure parts are accurately tracked, ordered, and available to meet demanding build schedules. The role and responsibilities include:
- Managing and maintaining engine parts inventory records.
- Raising purchase requisitions and liaising with the Purchasing department.
- Booking parts in and out of stock accurately.
- Monitoring stock levels and highlighting shortages when required.
- Supporting the planning and organisation of engine build kits.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and traceability records.
- Assisting with supplier communication and delivery tracking.
- Supporting general administrative tasks within the Engine department.
- Ensuring high standards of organisation and housekeeping are maintained.
We’re looking for a self‑motivated team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude. The ideal candidate will be:
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Skilled in multitasking and prioritising workloads under pressure.
- A confident communicator, especially amongst colleagues, internal departments and external suppliers.
- Computer literate with strong MS Office skills and experience using stock control systems.
- A collaborative problem‑solver who builds trust‑based relationships with both colleagues and external suppliers.
Preferred Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar administration, stores, or stock control environment would be beneficial, but not essential.
