Red Bull Technology are seeking a Build Production Engineer to assist the Assembly Group teams for the remainder of the 2025 season and beyond.
In this position you will proactively work alongside the Design and Assembly teams to understand the design intent to define and deliver achievable, efficient assembly processes, and support their execution.
Accountabilities
- Actively involved from initial design concept through to completion of car assemblies. Proactively engage with Design and feedback any Design for Assembly changes required.
- Embrace and promote a collaborative and constructive working approach with a continuous improvement mindset, forming bridges between the Assembly, Quality and Design teams to ensure assembly processes efficiently deliver design intent.
- Review design release content, including CSI’s. Responsible for the creation, maintenance, and continual improvement of our assembly processes to deliver design intent.
- Work with Quality Engineering to ensure the correct controls are in place to assure the quality of our car assemblies.
- Responsible for defining routings for Assembly; collaborate with Assembly teams to determine the hours required to achieve the assembly process standards and ensure alignment with production control routings.
Role requirements
- Possess a continuous improvement mindset and want to improve the process we deliver and the way we operate.
- Ability to communicate well with individuals and across teams – knowing who to go to, when and what situations with an approach that builds strong, collaborative relationships.
- Ability to seek and draw out constructive feedback and challenge this to ensure an optimum solution for the appropriate stake holders.
- Ability to react to daily production issues and support Assembly by providing suitable containment to minimise production delays. Where appropriate ensure information is accurately captured to determine root cause investigation.
- Demonstrate a strong technical and mechanical assembly understanding.
- Proficient knowledge of IT software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
