For many fans of Formula One, the sport exists between lights and chequered flag on a Sunday afternoon. It begins and ends with the exploits of the drivers on the track. But this is merely the tip of the spear. The reality of modern F1 is that of a complex and intertwined operation, every part of which needs to perform near its limit if success is to be achieved. From the pit crew searching for the ultimate repeatable pit stop, to the inspiration of the designers, the application of engineers and the herculean efforts of an army of fabricators and machinists. Much of our success is thanks to the diversity of thought and spectrum of skill sets held within the team, our ability to recognise unique contributions from individual team members is just a part of why we love what we do.

At Red Bull Powertrains, we’re redefining F1 power unit technology, pushing the limits of innovation and manufacturing grand prix winning power unit components. Join a team of talented individuals and visionaries dedicated to creating the future of motorsport. If you have the passion and expertise to drive excellence, the challenge starts here. • Ensuring the intelligent torque tools are programmed correctly and embedded correctly in the build processes.
  • Working with the design engineering and performance teams to ensure new designs are captured and controlled through the build process.
  • Working on continuous improvement ideas and streamlining initiatives to aid build efficiency and ensure reliable assemblies get to the track.
  • Calibration Management – Responsible for the PU operations gauges and planning the service/calibration schedules are kept up to date to minimise any down time.
  • Communicate assembly related quality issues to the appropriate key stakeholders ensuring faults/non-conformances are recorded via the internal business Faults System.
  • Become an integral member of the Assembly Group team, providing support to all team members and promoting open discussion with members throughout the business.
  • Ensure the highest standards of operation, organisation and cleanliness are met.
  • Operate in accordance to company Health & Safety/COSHH guidelines.
  • Responsible and accountable for delivering objectives on time and escalating any problems identified whilst working unsupervised.
