As an NDT Technician, you will play a key part in ensuring our composite and metallic components meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Performing in-process and final quality inspections to ensure that all products meet the required specifications.
- Recording and evaluating test results and producing clear and accurate NDT inspection reports.
- Identifying any non-conformances and actively contributing to the overall quality of our products and processes.
- Maintaining NDT equipment and ensuring all instruments remain correctly calibrated.
- Developing a strong understanding of the materials and manufacturing methods involved and recognising how these factors influence the final product.
- Actively contributing to improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing quality, reducing lead-time and strengthening health & safety.
Candidate Profile
- Qualified NDT Technician holding a PCN or Aerospace (EN 4179) Level 2 qualifications in UT.
- Experience in relevant NDT disciplines (MPI, DPI, EDT).
- Experience in Digital Radiography & CT (Level 3 certification in any method is an advantage).
- Committed, motivated and self-disciplined.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Computer literate with strong report writing skills.
- Strong attention to detail and able to work effectively under pressure.
