ABOUT THE ROLE
At M-Sport, we share a passion for motorsport – from the world rally stages to the dunes of rally raid, and beyond. Our dedicated team work together to design, build, and run competition-winning cars, and we’re on the lookout for a skilled Bodywork Technician to join our growing workforce.
As part of our new Bodywork Department, you’ll play a key role in producing and preparing high-quality bodywork and composite components for our motorsport programmes, working to exacting standards to ensure optimum performance and reliability.
The role responsibilities include:

Assembly and trimming carbon fibre and composite components.

Perform strip down, inspection and repairs following each event and reporting any faults to meet tight deadlines.

Working from technical drawings and patterns to ensure accuracy.

Support the repair and maintenance of carbon fibre and GRP panels.

Prepare components for painting and final fitment.

Maintaining high standards of finish and attention to detail.

Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the workshop environment.

Educated to a technician level, with a thorough understanding of bodywork, composites, motorsport, or a related field.

Able to read and interpret technical drawings and follow build documentation.

Excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for problem solving.

Preferred Experience:

Previous experience working with carbon fibre, GRP, or lightweight panel materials ideally in a motorsport or aerospace environment.

An understanding of motorsport environments or race car build processes.
