About MoneyGram Haas F1 Team 2025 sees MoneyGram Haas F1 Team celebrate its tenth season in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship. We don’t follow the status quo, we’re here to challenge the competition, and we want you to join us. The first American Formula 1 team to compete in the sport since 1986, MoneyGram Haas F1 Team made an immediate impression with a memorable points-scoring debut at the 2016 Australian Grand Prix. Nine years later, and the team continues to demonstrate growth and a clear direction with its future objectives – coming off the back of its second-best season to-date in Formula 1.
General Summary: This position reports to the Head of UK Operations or their designee and is located in Banbury, UK. Primarily responsible for the management of the UK stores department and the inventory within the business. This role will play a key part in the management of the Haas inventory over all sites including trackside.
General Responsibilities:
- Promote teamwork and effective communications to develop working relationships between all personnel and departments.
- Manage department personnel from recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement through to separation.
- Mentor, train and guide personnel as required.
- Develop staff using effective performance reviews and development plans.
- Responsible for setting the department budget and its day-to-day adherence to deliver a practical yet functional department.
- Responsible for documenting the existing inventory process and ensuring alignment with company SOPs within the team.
- Other duties as assigned by the Head of UK Operations or their designee.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accountable for the complete lifecycle of inventory within Haas UK, from parts receipt and usage to parts scrappages.
- Accountable for directing regular inventory checks of UK and trackside stock to continually improve accuracy.
- Accountable for the control and distribution of inventory across Haas UK and trackside in accordance with business processes.
- When required, travel to events, working under the direction of the Chief Mechanic during race weekends and test events, guaranteeing a professional parts service to the race team whilst working closely with the factory to ensure supply is in line with demand in a proactive manner.
- Develop dashboards and KPIs to demonstrate control of the processes related to inventory.
- Work with the factory and trackside parts coordinators to ensure that parts requirements set by the Head of UK Operations are met.
- Work with the UK departments during event turnaround to ensure parts are controlled upon receipt, distributed correctly, and received back prior to shipment.
- Work with the logistics department to ensure parts are ready for freight deadlines set.
- Oversee the creation and deployment of event specific delivery plans through collaboration with other departments.
- Work alongside multiple departments across the business to monitor and maintain all active work in the ERP system.
- Work on the continuous implementation, improvements, and maintenance within the ERP system, ensuring all departments’ requirements are fulfilled.
- Optimize warehouse and storage solutions trackside and in the factory to keep up with business requirements.
- Follow all safety regulations in all venues.
Education and Work Experience:
- GCSE, High School diploma or equivalent required. Further education including a University Degree could be beneficial.
- 8 years of store experience in automotive, motorsport, aerospace, or a similar industry, including 3 years as a leader of inventory/stores.
- Prior experience in Formula One or any motor racing team is advantageous.
Specialized Knowledge and Skills:
- Ability to supervise others, communicate effectively, and liaise with fellow workers to get desired results.
- Capable of working in a team environment to a very high standard and a positive work attitude.
- Experience with ERP systems and how to ensure adherence to inventory controls.
- Strong interpersonal skills needed to support colleagues during times of pressure.
- Needs to be proactive, flexible, organized and able to prioritize own workload.
- Work to a consistently high standard in stressful and time-sensitive situations.
- Quick decision-making skills whilst working through problems in a scientific and analytical way.

- Solid Microsoft and PC knowledge with experience in Microsoft Office products is essential.

Work Environment Physical Demands:
- An ability to work and prioritize within a high pressure, time-sensitive environment while retaining a methodical approach is essential.
- The role may require some domestic & international travel and a willingness to work long and flexible hours including weekends.
- This position may require lifting to 50 pounds, repeated bending, squatting and manual dexterity.
- A fast-paced work environment requiring heavy mental demands.
- Work environment includes machinery, race cars, 7-post and other rigs, grinding debris, and hazardous fluids.
