Experience and interest in experimental technologies such as PIV and pressure probes is important. This position requires a substantial amount of programming.
The Person
To succeed in this role, you’ll need a strong foundation in aeronautical engineering and a keen interest in experimental aerodynamics. You’ll be comfortable working in a dynamic environment, solving problems under pressure, and collaborating effectively with colleagues. A proactive attitude and attention to detail are essential. We are only able to accept applicants who have the right to work in the UK.
Key Skills & Experience
- A Master’s degree (or higher) in Aeronautical Engineering or a related discipline
- Experience with experimental technologies such as PIV and PPT
- A strong understanding of wind tunnel testing techniques
- Proficiency in coding and algorithm implementation
- A creative approach to problem‑solving and a mindset geared towards continuous improvement
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Working Pattern
This is a factory‑based role at our Enstone Technical Centre in the Oxfordshire countryside. Standard working hours are 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday.
