ABOUT THE ROLE

Operating at the highest levels of international motorsport, M-Sport UK delivers programmes across the FIA World Rally Championship, Rally Raid, and a variety of global customer racing activities. We are looking to recruit a highly organised and proactive Parts Coordinator to our team at the Dovenby Hall headquarters. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting our motorsport programmes by ensuring parts are accurately managed, coordinated and made available when required. Working closely with internal departments, suppliers and rally operation teams, you will help maintain an efficient parts operation whilst supporting the delivery of championship-winning programmes.

The role responsibilities include:

  • Parts Coordination: Coordinate the movement, availability and allocation of parts across the business, ensuring requirements are understood and fulfilled efficiently.
  • Parts Ordering: Support the ordering of parts and components, liaising with suppliers and internal departments to ensure required items are available within agreed timescales.
  • Stock Management: Assist with monitoring stock levels, identifying shortages and supporting accurate stock control across the Stores Department.
  • Parts Tracking: Maintain accurate records of parts movements, orders and availability, ensuring information is kept up to date within internal systems.
  • Internal Liaison: Work closely with Engineering, Production, Workshop, Stores and other departments to understand parts requirements and coordinate deliveries.
  • Delivery Coordination: Monitor incoming parts and deliveries, ensuring items are received, recorded and distributed to the relevant departments.
  • Parts Documentation: Maintain accurate parts records, documentation, and associated information in accordance with company procedures.
  • Event Support: Provide parts coordination support for M-Sport’s domestic and international programmes where required.
  • Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve parts-related issues, escalating concerns where appropriate and communicating effectively with relevant personnel.

  • Parts & Stock Management: Strong organisational ability with an understanding of parts management, stock control and inventory processes.
  • Administration Skills: Strong administrative ability with experience maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • IT Literacy: Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Outlook and Word.
  • Time Management: Ability to prioritise workloads effectively and meet deadlines within a busy environment.
  • Relationship Building: A proactive approach to developing positive supplier relationships and providing excellent internal customer service.
  • Problem Solving: Ability to identify issues, follow them through to resolution and communicate effectively throughout.
  • Professionalism: A reliable and confidential approach with strong attention to detail.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments whilst also working independently when required.

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous experience within a parts, stock control, or administrative role.
  • Experience using ERP, MRP or parts management systems.
