We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated
NDT Technician to join our high-performance team in a travelling position.
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a cutting-edge motorsport environment, supporting the development, inspection, and integrity of race car components.
In this position you will play a key role in ensuring all parts meet the highest standards of safety and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform non-destructive testing on new, in-service, and R&D components using, Ultrasonic Inspection, Eddy Current Inspection, Magnetic Particle Inspection, Dye Penetrant Inspection and Visual Inspection.
- Support the preparation and validation of race car components to the highest quality standards.
- Maintain accurate and detailed NDT reports in line with company procedures.
- Ensure compliance with internal specifications and aerospace-level standards.
- Communicate inspection results clearly to engineering, design, and stress teams.
- Continuously develop technical skills and maintain up-to-date knowledge of NDT techniques.
- Work collaboratively across departments including Quality, Production, R&D, and Race Team.
- Uphold health & safety standards at all times.
- Travel to the F1 races, supporting events.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Minimum Level 2 NDT Qualification (EN4179/PCN) across key techniques.
- Strong expertise in Ultrasonic A-Scan (Phased Array, would be beneficial), Eddy Current, Magnetic Particle Inspection, Dye Penetrant & Visual Inspection.
- Strong attention to detail, with strict adherence to inspection specifications and reporting standards.
- Ability to calmly and confidently work under pressure to achieve targets and deliver results within required timescales and be able to work with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of X-Ray and CT Scan techniques is beneficial.
- Excellent communicator with a proactive, positive attitude.
- To be self-motivated and to motivate others to thrive in a challenging environment.
- Willingness to adapt, travel, and go above and beyond in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in Formula One, high-level motorsport, or aerospace highly desirable.
