General Summary: This role reports to the Indirect Procurement Manager or their designee and is based in Banbury, UK. The role supports the delivery and contribution of departmental and organisational objectives. Responsible for supporting day‑to‑day operations within their area of responsibility, working collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure high standards of service, compliance, and performance. Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for indirect procurement of goods and services to support the operation of the wider team, ensuring delivery, cost, and quality targets and milestones are achieved.
- Operate within budgets and achieve agreed procurement cost saving targets.
- Provide purchasing support for the indirect category of equipment, from facilities, IT, marketing and HR through to the services that support the wider race team, including transport, consumables, garage & pit equipment, etc.
- Follow purchasing guidelines, policies and procedures, continually challenging cost, quality and lead time.
- Sourcing value for money, quality suppliers, and securing commercially appropriate quotations; negotiating pricing and terms.
- Lead contract negotiations with external vendors for indirect products and services.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure effective sourcing strategies.
- On‑board new vendors and setting them up on the ERP system as required, ensuring the appropriate process is followed, utilizing standard terms and conditions and non‑disclosure agreements.
- Processing requisitions and raising purchase orders and updating the wider team on the status of orders.
- Expediting deliveries to the required timescales, and maintaining accurate order‑books, ensuring information is kept topical.
- Building relationships with suppliers and negotiating with them for the best price, quantities and delivery timescales.
- Responsible for invoice queries and liaising with the finance department to ensure resolution.
- Confidence to provide feedback on changes that could reduce costs and/or improve the quality of supply without negatively affecting the function of the goods or services.
- Proactively ensures best practices are adopted and followed.

Person Specification:
- A minimum of three years of Purchasing or Supply Chain experience.
- Experience in the motorsport industry would be advantageous, but not essential.
- Demonstrated experience in identifying potential quality and delivery risks and implementing effective corrective actions.
- Be able to operate with an uncompromising commitment to the accuracy of delivery information and the quality of delivered outputs.
