We have an opportunity for a Junior Buyer to join the team at our Silverstone facility. In this role you will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing and managing the supply‑chain of components and materials. You will work closely with suppliers, production delivery leads, the buyer team and engineers in a highly time‑sensitive environment, ensuring parts are delivered on time, to specification, and within budget to support both factory and trackside activities.

Responsibilities
- Raise purchase orders in line with technical requirements and in accordance with desired delivery dates
- Expedite orders to ensure on‑time delivery, particularly for race‑critical components
- Support resolution of supply‑chain issues, including delays or non‑conformance
- Coordinate urgent or last‑minute requests, especially during race events
- Work closely with a team of buyers, production delivery leads and engineers to understand requirements and support process development
- Assist with supplier selection and onboarding processes
Requirements
- Experience in purchasing, procurement, buying or supply chain is desirable but not essential
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
- High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast‑moving and highly dynamic environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and ERP/MRP purchasing systems
- Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to identify and escalate supply‑chain risks
- A collaborative team player who is eager to learn and contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives
- Interest in engineering, manufacturing, motorsport or Formula 1 environments would be advantageous
