Your challenge: As our Trackside Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for the deployment, operation, and continuous improvement of the car’s control systems during race events and crucial test activities. Working in an intense, time‑critical environment, your expertise will ensure that control software, hardware, and operational processes perform flawlessly, contributing directly to race execution, car performance, and reliability.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the preparation, configuration, and operation of car control systems at the race track and during test events.
- Deploying and maintaining ECU software, control strategies, and calibration sets in line with race‑weekend requirements.
- Working closely with race engineering, performance, power unit, and factory‑based controls teams to deliver seamless trackside support.
- Diagnosing and resolving complex control‑system and integration issues under tight time pressure during events.
- Supporting live car operation, fault investigation, and data analysis to ensure maximum availability and performance.
- Contributing to continuous improvement of control architectures, tools, and operational processes across factory and trackside environments.
- Providing feedback from trackside operations to guide development and validation activities back at the factory.
