With more than 30 years' experience at the forefront of a continuously evolving industry, SRO Motorsports Group is the established leader in global GT racing. The company has developed a diverse portfolio of international and domestic series spanning Europe, America, Asia and Australia, with categories catering for GT2, GT3, GT4 and touring car machinery. Since 2001 it has overseen stewardship of the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa, helping to return the event to a position of global significance.
A rare opportunity has now arisen for a talented individual to oversee the management of this championship’s social media content. An existing knowledge of motorsport and particularly GT racing is highly desirable.
Role: Social Media Manager, GT World Challenge Europe
Purpose: Plan, produce and post GT World Challenge Europe social media content. Working alongside the championship’s press officer (UK) and promotion (France) teams, the successful candidate will draw on their existing experience to execute class-leading social media content and campaigns that engage existing and new GT World fans.
Reporting to: GT World Challenge Europe Press Officer
Hours: Full-time (based in SRO’s London office) or contractor. On-event weekend work is also required.

Experience: Minimum of three-five years’ experience working within a motorsport content creation and/or social media management environment.
Salary: Commensurate to experience

Essential skills:
- Copy writing: impeccable English language skills
- Content creation: professional-level knowledge of all social media platforms
- Graphic design: a working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud and/or app-based design tools, such as Canva
Responsibilities:
- Owning the complete content creation process for GT World Challenge Europe’s social media accounts
- Publication of all content on all social media channels (Instagram, X, Facebook, TikTok and LinkedIn)
- Management of content schedule
- Staying up to date with content trends and utilising these when appropriate
- Analysing page insights to create better social media output
- Engaging with followers and the GT World Challenge Europe community, such as answering questions in comments
- Providing feedback and amendments to video and graphic content created by the wider media team
- Overseeing content production and publication to promote race events and ticket sales
- Overseeing social media boosting for event promotion
- Reporting on spend to GT World Challenge Europe’s press officer
- Providing social media data and key points for post-event reporting
- Creating thumbnails for YouTube uploads, including live streams, and as well as their accompanying copy (titles and descriptions)
- Working with and generating content for commercial partners and stakeholders
- Updating the GT World Challenge Europe website when required
Event-specific responsibilities:
- Attending all GT World Challenge Europe events
- Owning the complete content creation process on race weekends
- Overseeing the content schedule throughout race week
- Creation and publication of event-relevant graphics, such as entry lists and timetables
- Assisting in the creation of pre-event briefings for the championship’s photo/video teams, including specific requests for social media
- Clipping and posting TV content from live broadcasts
- Repurposing the same content for other purposes
- Creation and publication of session results posts
- Overseeing the creation of winners/champions graphics, and ensuring speedy publication at the chequered flag
- Creating content to suit ad hoc requests
- Publishing video content produced on-site and creating suitable YouTube thumbnails/accompanying written copy when necessary
- Creation of vertical content using phone footage
- Promotion of on-event activities
- Promotion of YouTube livestream using posts and ‘Watch Now’ Instagram stories
- Providing archive links for preview, highlights and postcard videos
