What you'll own
- Content across all channels
- Plan, produce, schedule and publish content across Instagram, Tik Tok, Reddit, Linked In and Facebook, tailored to each platform, not reposted from one to another.
- The content calendar
- Build and maintain a single organised calendar covering every channel, keeping activity coordinated and giving the wider business visibility of what's going live and when.
- Budget
- You'll be working in a low-budget, fast-moving environment where creativity matters more than production value. Scrappy is fine. Slow isn't.
- Agency management
- Brief, manage and quality-check external agencies producing content on our behalf on brand, on time, on budget.
- Internal collaboration
- Work across brand, product and customer teams to surface stories and turn what's happening inside the business into content worth publishing.
- Community engagement
- Manage day-to-day responses across channels in Cazoo's voice, building relationships and handling issues with judgement when things get tricky.
- Social listening
- Track conversations about Cazoo, the category and the wider used-car market. Feed insight back into the content plan and the wider business.
- Competitive analysis
- Keep a close eye on what competitors are doing across formats, campaigns and tone, and use it to sharpen our own approach.
- Analytics and reporting
- Own reporting across all channels. Track what's working, report on it clearly, and use the numbers to make the next month better than the last.
- Brentford partnership
- Plan and produce social content for the Brentford partnership activations, behind-the-scenes moments, co-branded campaigns and get them onto the right channels at the right time.
- Reactive content
- Create fast-turnaround content tied to trends and wider social conversation, responding in Cazoo's voice consistently. Challenger energy, good judgement.
- Influencers and creators
- Brief and manage creators and influencers, from hero campaigns to UGC to extend reach on our channels and theirs.
What we’re looking for
Proven experience managing social across multiple platforms: Instagram, Tik Tok, Reddit, Linked In and Facebook
- A genuine understanding of how each platform works and how to tailor content accordingly, Tik Tok and Reddit in particular reward people who actually use them
- Able to create content that feels native to each platform rather than traditional marketing adapted for social
- Strong organisational skills: you can run a multi-channel content calendar without dropping anything
- Experience managing agencies or external partners
- Comfortable in front of the camera presenting, talking to the audience, creating content yourself
- Strong copywriting and a feel for brand voice; you can write in someone else's tone without losing the thread
- Confident with social analytics and able to turn data into clear recommendations
- Quick, calm and sensible when responding to the community including when things get difficult
- Commercial awareness: you understand how social supports brand growth and business objectives, not just engagement numbers
- Understanding of how paid and organic social work together to scale reach and performance
- Useful but not essential
- Experience in automotive, retail, e-commerce or another fast-moving consumer brand
- Familiarity with social listening and competitor tracking tools
- Basic video and photo editing for quick-turnaround content
- Experience with Meta Ads, Google Analytics or Canva
