The Role

Preparation Manager

Location: Burnley

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: 42.5

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Pre-delivery Inspection Technicians and Vehicle Preparation Assistants to deliver high quality standards in the preparation of all vehicles ready for display and delivery to customers.
  • Manage productivity and efficiency of the team, matching workload to resource.
  • Coaching and developing the preparation teams, ensuring they have the resources to deliver results.
  • Ensure work is allocated to individuals and productivity is maintained whilst maintaining quality.
  • Work closely with the store management team to ensure a high level of customer service to all customers.
  • Maintain good administrative procedures and filing of relevant documents.
  • Work closely with subcontractors on site and maintain a good relationship ensuring quality of work.
  • Carry out all duties in line with the company’s health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Due to the nature of the role, a full, clean driving licence is required.

How to get the role

We are looking for someone with a proven track record in a similar role, with experience in workshop control, quality control, logistics, people management and leadership. The role requires good organisational ability, a methodical approach to workload management, and the ability to handle several processes simultaneously. IT literacy with working knowledge of Outlook and Excel is also required.
