The Role
Title: Trainee Sales Executive
Salary: £12.25 per hour + monthly bonus
Location: Glasgow
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: 40 hours, 5 days a week on a rota (weekend work required)
Responsibilities
- Be the friendly face that welcomes customers to our store
- Support the vehicle collection process, ensuring all paperwork and procedures are completed accurately
- Proactively resolve customer issues and ensure a smooth, professional experience
- Contact customers to arrange or amend collection dates
- Spot opportunities to upsell products and services
- Complete the training programme covering product knowledge and sales techniques, typically running for twelve months; progress is assessed at completion of learning modules
- Upon successfully passing all training requirements, progress to a Sales Executive position
- Maintain a positive attitude that aligns with our values: Proud, Honest, Supportive, Happy, Together
Qualifications & Requirements
- Full UK driving licence (manual & automatic vehicles)
- Experience in a customer service role preferred
- Drive to build a career with Motorpoint
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Comfortable using IT systems, including Outlook and Excel
- Team player who goes the extra mile for customers
