The Role: Trainee Sales Executive
Salary: Β£12.25 per hour + monthly bonus
Location: Edinburgh
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: 40 hours, 5 days out of 7 on a rota β weekend working required.
Responsibilities
Be the friendly face that welcomes customers to our store.
Support the vehicle collection process, ensuring all paperwork and procedures are completed accurately.
Proactively resolve customer issues and ensure a smooth, professional experience.
Contact customers to arrange or amend collection dates.
Spot opportunities to upsell products and services.
Complete the training programme covering product knowledge and sales techniques β typically 12 months at your own pace.
Upon successful completion of training, progress to a Sales Executive position.
Maintain a positive attitude aligned with our values: Proud, Honest, Supportive, Happy, Together.
Qualifications & Requirements
Full UK driving licence (manual & automatic).
Previous customer service experience beneficial.
Drive to build a career with Motorpoint.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
Comfortable using IT systems, including Outlook and Excel.
Team player who goes the extra mile for customers.
