The Role: Vehicle Preparation Assistant (A4C)

Salary: £12.35 per hour basic + monthly bonus

Location: Motherwell Auction4Cars

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: 25.5 hours, 3 days per week (Monday – Wednesday)

As a Vehicle Preparation Assistant (A4C), you’ll play a key role in ensuring our vehicles are assessed and advertised accurately before they’re sold to and collected by our trade customers.

What will you be getting up to?

  • Perform daily inspections for damage, verify vehicle specs and service history
  • Photograph vehicles to company standards for marketing and records
  • Conduct vehicle check-ins in all weather conditions
  • Handle personal data in line with GDPR requirements
  • Support vehicle movements on-site and off-site
  • Liaise with drivers and transporters, resolving challenges professionally
  • Carry out any other ad hoc tasks as required

  • A full UK driving licence (essential)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Motivation to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in high standards of cleanliness and presentation
