We are recruiting a Trainee Sales Executive to join our team in Newport. This is a permanent, full-time position (40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 on a rota, with weekend working required).
Salary and Benefits
- Salary: £13.00 per hour plus a monthly bonus.

Responsibilities
- Be the friendly face that welcomes customers to our store.
- Support the vehicle collection process, ensuring all paperwork and procedures are completed accurately.
- Proactively resolve customer issues and ensure a smooth, professional experience.
- Contact customers to arrange or amend collection dates.
- Spot opportunities to upsell products and services.
- Complete the training programme covering product knowledge and sales techniques (typically twelve months, adjusted to progress and ability).
- Progress to a Sales Executive position upon successful completion of training requirements.
- Maintain a positive attitude aligned with our values: Proud, Honest, Supportive, Happy, and Together.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A full UK driving licence (manual & automatic).
- Experience in a customer service role is highly beneficial.
- Drive to build a career with Motorpoint.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Comfortable using IT systems, including Outlook and Excel.
- A team player who goes the extra mile for customers.
