The Role: HR Administrator

Salary: £12.25 per hour

Location: Champion House, Derby

Contract Type: FTC for 2026.

Hours: Mon-Fri Flexible (up to 37.5) can offer part time for the right candidate

Key Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the HR Systems and Engagement Manager, you will work closely with the People team to drive performance through reporting alongside administrative support.
  • Support with onboarding administration
  • Assist in the organisation and facilitation of training sessions.
  • Support with the creation of reports following engagement surveys.
  • Assist with queries from employees relating to their benefits and pay.
  • Run ad hoc reports when requested.
  • Support the HR team with any general administration tasks.
  • Maintain and review HR queries via our HR ticketing system.

What You Will Need To Succeed

  • Previous experience working within a HR team or within retail (desirable).
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programmes such as Outlook & Powerpoint.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly establish rapport with stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confident in navigating HR software.
  • Team player, supportive and always willing to assist.
  • Upholds Motorpoint's core values.
