Overview
Accounts Assistant – Fixed Term Contract (3 months). 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday). Location: Derby area (Champion House – Derby). Salary: £24k – £27k (dependent on experience).

What you will be doing
Accounts Payable
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain vendor records and ensure compliance with payment terms.
Accounts Receivable
- Monitor and chase outstanding payments.
- Allocate incoming payments accurately.
General Finance Support
- Support bank reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
What we need from you
- Proven experience in a similar finance or accounts assistant role.
- Strong working knowledge of NetSuite ERP.
- Solid understanding of AR and AP processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- AAT qualification or working towards it (Desirable).
- Experience in a multi-entity or international finance environment (Desirable).
- Familiarity with automated invoice processing tools (Desirable).
