Our workshops are a key department on every site and we are looking for a Preparation Support Manager to supervise the workshop and yard team reporting directly into the General Sales Manager.
As a Preparation Support Manager here at Motorpoint, you will help us to shake off all those outdated car industry clichés and help us drive into the fast lane towards becoming the most desired car retailer.
- Let us tell you a little bit about what you will be doing
- Supervise a team of Pre-delivery Inspection Technicians and Vehicle Preparation Assistants to deliver high quality standards in the preparation of all vehicles ready for display and delivery to customers.
- Manage productivity and efficiency of the team, matching workload to resource.
- Coaching and developing the preparation teams, ensuring they have the resources to deliver results.
- Ensure work is allocated to individuals and productivity is maintained whilst maintaining quality.
- Work closely with the store management team to ensure a high level of customer service to all our customers.
- Maintain good administrative procedures and filing of relevant documents.
- Working closely with sub contractors on site and maintaining a good relationship and ensuring quality of work.
- Carry out all duties in line with the company's health and safety policies and procedures, and the safe to work instructions.
- Due to the nature of the role you will need a full, clean driving licence.
