The Role:

  • Salary: £40,000 Basic + Competitive bonus

  • Contract Type: Permanent
  • Hours: 42.5 per week

You will be responsible for the leadership of our preparation operations in Burnley. You will be passionate about fuelling others by driving, coaching, and motivating your teams to deliver outstanding, stretching results. Person Specification:

  • A proven track record of success and commercial delivery.
  • Experience of managing in a workshop/warehouse environment.
  • Heavily focused on safety, compliance and quality standards.
  • A proven track record of creating highly engaged, high performing teams.
  • Resilient, self-motivated, and accomplished at forming relationships and influencing people at all levels.
  • A team player who encourages cross site and regional collaboration, working with your peer group, key stakeholders, and HQ functions to drive consistency and share best practice.
  • Able to demonstrate success when leading change and transformation activities.
  • Has a good internal and external network and uses this to develop self, gain new insights and promote the Motorpoint brand.

Skills:

  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify opportunities to challenge and improve.
  • Strong verbal and numerical analytical ability.
  • Good communication skills to question, listen, interpret, and explain concepts.
  • Good MS Office proficiency.
  • Qualification or experience in MOT Test station management (desirable but not essential).
