This is an onsite Shipping Associate role located at our Ware offices. The position requires five days a week on the shop floor and involves coordinating the dispatch process, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of goods to customers while maintaining compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule daily dispatch activities to meet delivery deadlines.
- Verify and cross‑check outgoing shipments against orders and documentation, ensuring proper labeling, packaging, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with customers, carriers, and internal teams to confirm delivery requirements and resolve queries.
- Prepare and process shipping documents such as invoices, packing lists, and delivery notes, ensuring legal and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with store staff to manage stock levels, allocate inventory for dispatch, and report discrepancies.
- Track key performance metrics (delivery times, accuracy, customer satisfaction) and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Proactively address and resolve issues including delays, incorrect shipments, or carrier disputes, and develop contingency plans to minimize disruptions.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience in logistics, dispatch, or warehouse coordination.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and shipping procedures.
