Job Description
As a member of the Governance team, the PMO Architect will:
- Own and contribute to initiatives to grow and improve the International SI Delivery Methodology and Governance framework, through both the creation of content and driving the adoption and usage.
- Harvest and harmonise the best practices across International SI, working through a network of regional contacts to understand the processes used and evaluate assets and practices to be incorporated into the Governance framework.
- Champion and contribute to the continuous improvement of the SI Delivery Methodology and Governance framework.
- Support the up-keep of the content of the various Knowledge Management tools owned by the PMO.
- Participate in the creation of training materials and the delivery of training to the stakeholders of the Governance framework.
- Participate in the creation and the delivery of communications to the stakeholders of the Governance framework.
- Support the evaluation and quantification of the benefits of the SI Delivery Methodology.
Basic Requirements
- 4+ years of PMO experience or project/program management in a systems integration environment.
- An exceptional (English language) communicator, both written and verbal. This is essential for both:
- Succinctly and clearly documenting the processes and procedures for our project management, systems and field engineering communities to follow.
- Delivering the training and all communications to keep the communities informed of updates and improvements.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- A recognised Project Management and/or PMO certification.
- Experience of working with or in engineering teams.
- Experience of delivering change/process improvements in an organisation.
- Experience of working with Knowledge Management tools e.g., Confluence, Intranet sites, shared drives.
