We are looking for bright and enthusiastic graduates to join our R&D team in Edinburgh. As a software engineer you will work on research, design, testing and delivery of features across our entire product range, contributing to our cloud‑based video security solution.
Responsibilities
- Research and design new features and solutions.
- Develop and test software components.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality releases.
- Participate in code reviews, continuous integration, and deployment processes.
Qualifications
- Strong enthusiasm to learn new technologies, especially Go but also any of the following: Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript, HTML, or CSS.
- Previous experience designing, developing, and consuming REST APIs.
- Understanding of network security concepts such as SSL/TLS and other cryptography.
- Appreciation for test‑driven development, continuous integration/deployment, and Kanban workflows.
- Experience using version control (Git) in a team environment.
- Experience developing for machine learning or computer vision is an advantage.
- Excellent academic results or demonstration of outstanding technical skills.
- Proficiency in English.
