Department Overview: CRFS was founded in 2007 with a mission to provide the best actionable RF intelligence across the widest possible frequency range in any environment. Our software defined radios and solutions are used worldwide by the military, government agencies, system integrators and national spectrum regulators to capture, detect and geolocate signals they care about, enabling real-time intelligence.

Job Description: We are looking for an International Events Manager to join our digital marketing team. In this role, you will hold end-to-end responsibility for planning, executing, delivering, and reporting on the effectiveness of our global trade show, speaking slot, and corporate hospitality programs. You will work closely with the marketing, sales, engineering, and product teams to lead detailed planning, logistics, and support, acting as the senior point of contact across all stakeholder relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Leadership & Event Delivery
    • Accountability: Hold end-to-end operational ownership for the global events program.
    • Lifecycle Management: Oversee entire event lifecycles, from initial strategic planning ("why attend") and pre-event documentation to post-event sales reports, lead management, and ROI reporting.
    • Logistics: Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to integrate cross-functional planning.
    • Execution: Act as the senior point of contact during live events to ensure seamless execution and rapid troubleshooting (covering equipment, branding, messaging, and coordinated customer visits).
    • Product Store Management: Manage and maintain the inventory log (booking in and out) of hardware for the marketing department.
  • People Leadership & Project Management
    • Collaboration: Utilise excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong collaborative partnerships across departments.
    • Project Management: Manage complex logistics with a forensic attention to detail and seamlessly juggle multiple event timelines.
  • Health, Safety & Risk Management
    • Compliance: Adhere strictly to health and safety protocols and risk management guidelines across all international jurisdictions to ensure team safety.
    • Contingency Planning: Demonstrate proactive incident management and innovative, "outside-the-box" thinking during unexpected scenarios.
  • Commercial & Financial Oversight
    • Budgeting: Maintain strict oversight of operational budgets, working closely with the Finance department on forecasting, cost control, and variances.
  • Continuous Improvement & Business Support
    • Process Optimisation: Continuously review planning frameworks, reporting mechanisms, and ROI data to ensure all events successfully deliver the intended pipeline leads and brand awareness.

Basic Requirements

  • Education: Degree or Master’s qualified, ideally in a non-marketing discipline.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent writing, editing, and spoken-word communication skills.
  • Analytical Mindset: A questioning mind with the proven ability to quickly absorb, extract, and sort complex technical information.
  • Core Value Driver: A strong grasp of marketing value propositions and establishing clear reasons to believe for customers.

  • Experience: 4+ years of client-side B2B marketing or event experience.
  • Background: A professional background rooted in content, advertising, inbound marketing, or a fast-paced agency setting.

  • Interpersonal Skills: An excellent listener with sharp interpersonal and collaborative traits.

Working Model & Travel Expectations

  • Office Presence: You will join our digital marketing team in the office a minimum of three days per week (specifically Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday).
  • Travel Requirements: You will be required to travel to support our sales teams at domestic UK events and occasionally overseas.
