Connect with a career that matters, and help us build a safer future.## **Department Overview**The Evidence and Devices Engineering team is responsible for Motorola Solutions’ body cameras, vehicle cameras and evidence management software leveraged in public safety and enterprise applications worldwide. We are a thriving and growing company in search of a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our evidence management team at our Edinburgh, Scotland site. This is a full-time role where you will play a crucial part in the development and growth of our software engineering projects. We are seeking a talented and proactive individual who can contribute to our team’s success and foster a positive culture within the company.## Job Description**Please note that this role is based in the Edinburgh Office. The successful candidate must have already graduated.*** Designing and implementing Embedded Software in C, C++, Rust.* Debugging and resolving technical problems that arise.* Learning and maintaining an existing code base, while taking ownership of the feature in development.* Ensuring continuous professional self-development.## Basic Requirements**What you bring to the table:*** Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Electronics, Electrical or equivalent.* Knowledge of Embedded software development, testing and debugging software issues.* Collaborates with co-workers and has strong communication, relationship-building, and cooperation skills.* Ability to multi-task under guidance.* Interest to learn and grow your skillset on Embedded Linux, Microcontrollers, Electronics.**Bonus points for:*** Previous working experience on Embedded Systems.* Familiarity with Linux-based environments.* In return for your expertise, we’ll support you in this new challenge with coaching & development every step of the way.
