With a track record of excellence and customer satisfaction, the repair centre is seeking an experienced Production / Operations Manager to join their growing and diverse team. This role is commutable from New Mills, Whaley Bridge, Marple, Poynton, Hazel Grove, Stockport, Hyde and surrounding areas.
As the Production / Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations of the repair centre to ensure timely and efficient repairs.
As the Production / Operations Manager, you will be responsible for but not limited to:
* Manage the day-to-day operations of the repair centre, ensuring an efficient productive workflow and timely completion of repairs
* Assign tasks to Technicians based on their skills and workload to optimise productivity
* Maintain accurate workshop records, including job progress, invoicing, and billing as needed
* Support team members by monitoring performance, ensuring compliance with company policies, and providing guidance as required
* Implement quality control measures to guarantee all repairs meet high standard
* Conduct thorough final inspections before vehicle handover
* Communicate effectively with insurance companies and customers to ensure a smooth repair process
* Oversee quality control of completed repairs, ensuring customer satisfaction
* Responsibility for operational performance, working closely with Directors to enhance business efficiency
* Addressing enquiries in a prompt and professional manner
* Ensure that all health and safety regulations are adhered to
As the Production / Operations Manager, you will have:
* Previous experience as a Production / Operations Manager (Essential)
* Strong leadership and organisational skills
* Knowledge of automotive repairs / techniques (Essential)
Hours:
* Monday to Friday, 8AM to 5PM
